Your Registration Certificate, or RC, identifies your registered vehicle. It brings together the registration number, registering authority and vehicle information in one document.

Frequently asked questions

A few useful answers before you search.

How do I search for my vehicle’s RC details?

Enter the complete registration number in the search box above and select Check RC information. Spaces and lowercase letters are accepted.

Why is the owner’s name masked?

Some personal information is protected or withheld by the record provider. Vehicle Details displays the details it receives and does not reveal hidden personal information.

Does the report include insurance and PUC dates?

Insurance and PUC details appear when they are included in the returned vehicle record. Missing fields do not confirm that a document is absent or invalid.

Can I check a car or a two-wheeler?

You can search using the registration number of a car or two-wheeler. The information available depends on the returned record.

What should I do if a detail looks incorrect?

Compare the record with your current documents. For corrections to registration information, contact the relevant registering authority or use the official vehicle services portal.
