About the service
The website provides vehicle-record lookups, transport information, reference directories, calculators, checklists and document-drafting tools. It is an independent information service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by MoRTH, an RTO, Parivahan, NIC, a court, NPCI, a bank, an insurer or another government authority.
We do not issue registration certificates, driving licences, NOCs, insurance cover or government approvals. We do not collect or settle challans, operate FASTag accounts, represent users in court or file a generated document with an authority. Information and templates on this website are general assistance, not a professional engagement for legal, financial, tax or mechanical advice.
The current website does not require an account or process payments for its tools. A fee, fine, recharge or other transaction on an external website is governed by that provider’s terms. If we introduce a paid service, its price, responsible provider and applicable payment, cancellation and refund terms will be presented before purchase.
Who can use the interactive services
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering into an agreement to use the interactive services. If you use them on behalf of someone else, you must have appropriate authority. Please read these terms before using the services; do not use them if you cannot comply with these conditions.
Use the website lawfully
Only request information about a vehicle you own, a vehicle whose owner has authorised the search, or a vehicle for which you have another lawful basis to access the requested information. The fact that a registration number is visible on a vehicle does not authorise every use of related records.
- Do not use searches to stalk, harass, discriminate, impersonate someone, commit fraud or expose another person’s private information.
- Do not attempt to reveal masked owner details, access restricted information, bypass verification or rate limits, exploit a security weakness or interfere with the website or its providers.
- Do not scrape or automate bulk searches, compile personal-data databases, resell records or use our service as an unapproved API.
- Do not submit unlawful content, malicious code or false information. Do not create a document that impersonates a government certificate or misrepresents a fact, authority or signature.
- Use only information you are entitled to submit and share. Keep search links, downloaded reports and generated letters private where they contain personal or vehicle information.
We may apply proportionate rate limits, refuse a request or restrict access where reasonably needed to prevent abuse, meet legal obligations or protect the service. Those measures do not remove a person’s ability to submit a complaint or exercise a statutory right.
Vehicle records have limits
Lookup records come from connected third-party services, as explained in our Sources & editorial policy. We are not the authority that creates those records. Coverage, update times and available fields can vary. A result can be incomplete, incorrect, masked or outdated, and a model photo can be representative rather than a photo of the particular vehicle.
A missing challan or an empty result is not proof that there are no fines, restrictions, finance obligations or other issues. A registration search does not establish ownership rights, confirm a seller’s identity or provide a complete accident, repair or service history. Displayed insurance dates do not determine coverage, and FASTag information does not replace confirmation from the issuing bank.
Before buying or selling a vehicle, paying a fine, travelling, filing a document or making another important decision, check current certificates and the relevant authority, bank or insurer. Report display errors to us; source-record corrections must be handled by the issuing authority or provider.
Estimates, guides and generated documents
Calculators use the assumptions and inputs shown in the tool. Taxes, refunds, resale values, permit charges, subsidies and running costs can depend on local rules, dates, vehicle categories and individual facts. An estimate is not an official assessment, guaranteed refund, sale offer or eligibility decision.
Fuel-price references, transport-office details and service-status displays must be read with their stated source and limitations. A reference or simulated status must not be treated as verified real-time information. A mock driving test does not book an examination, grant a licence or guarantee a pass.
Document tools create drafts from your inputs. Check every fact, applicable rule, format, annexure, signature and submission requirement with the relevant authority or a qualified adviser. A template is not a filed application, official approval or promise that a dispute will succeed. Never make a false declaration or rely on a suggested legal provision without checking that it applies to your circumstances.
An inspection checklist helps organise observations; it is not a professional vehicle inspection, warranty or assurance that a vehicle is safe or defect-free. Obtain a competent inspection when needed.
External websites and transactions
Links can take you to official portals and other independent services. Check the destination, its current terms and its security before providing information or making a payment. We do not control those services or guarantee their availability, records or transaction outcomes. This does not exclude any responsibility of ours that applicable law requires.
References to other brands describe the service or comparison discussed. They do not imply a partnership, endorsement or permission to use another provider’s account or records.
Privacy and saved information
Our Privacy Policy explains the registration queries shared with providers, security checks, support emails and information saved locally. It also provides privacy controls for optional analytics and saved website data. Acceptance of these terms does not constitute consent to optional analytics.
On a shared device, clear saved searches and inspection entries when finished. Search URLs can include registration numbers. You are responsible for the copies you choose to print, download, copy or send, while we remain responsible for our own handling of information under applicable law.
Website content and trademarks
The Vehicle Details branding, original text, layouts and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use the website and generate copies of your own checklist or document drafts for lawful personal or authorised internal use. Statutory exceptions and lawful quotation rights remain available.
Third-party trademarks, vehicle imagery, records and linked materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners and sources. These terms do not give you a licence to redistribute third-party records or imagery. If you believe material infringes your rights, send the page URL, identification of the material and the basis of your claim to our contact address.
Availability and changes to features
Features depend on network connections and external providers and can be unavailable or changed. We may maintain, change or withdraw a feature, including where needed for security or legal reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular response time or continued availability of a third-party data source.
Keep a separate copy of important drafts and checklist entries. Browser storage can be lost through device changes, browser settings or clearing site data.
Responsibility and your statutory rights
